From the team at Cape Byron Distillery in the hinterland of Byron Bay is a new Brookie’s Native Plum Gin Spritz with Mint and Strawberry pre-bottled for spring and made with 100% natural ingredients.
Inspired by the team’s favourite cocktail, ‘Take it Slow’, the latest spritz is the second edition to the premium premix range for the distillery after releasing the popular Brookie’s Byron Dry Gin & Tonic with Native Finger Lime.
The new gin takes Brookie’s Native Plum ‘Slow’ Gin made in the traditional style of the English Sloe gin but using native Davidson plum indigenous to northern NSW and foraged from the rainforest around the distillery instead of sloe berries.
The Davidson plum is considered a ‘bushfood’ delicacy and balanced with the freshness of the natural flavours of mint and strawberry; it delivers a uniquely Australian drink with the bonus of the health attributes of the Davidson plum.

The new premix is pale pink with a hint of cloudiness, fresh plum and hints of summer berry and garden mint. It is bottled at 4.8% ABV and is one standard drink per serve.
