Asahi Beverages has launched its award-winning, non-alcoholic beer Asahi Super Dry 0.0% in Australia.

Winning a gold medal at the recent World Alcohol-Free Awards 2023 in London, judges described the brew as a “classic lager that’s indistinguishable from a full-strength version.”

Kym Bonollo, Head of International & Craft at Asahi Beverages, said that consumers are seeking options that offer great taste and quality as demand continues to grow for alcohol-free alternatives.

“Developed through extensive research and trials, Asahi Super Dry 0.0% is an elevated option,” she said. “As demand for alcohol-free alternatives grows, we’re seeing more people seek out brewed adult beverages such as non-alcohol beers that don’t compromise on taste or quality.”

Created using the same traditional Japanese techniques and high-quality ingredients as its full-strength counterpart, Bonollo said Asahi is committed to providing more options for consumers wanting moderate their alcohol consumption.

“Asahi Super Dry is an internationally recognised premium beer brand and Japan’s leading beer. Now, Australian beer lovers looking to moderate their alcohol consumption can enjoy Asahi Super Dry’s signature crisp and refreshing taste without the alcohol,” she said.

The Australian launch will be supported by an above the line campaign across TV, video on demand, out of home, digital and social channels from this week.

Asahi Super Dry 0.0% can be found in bottled form at liquor outlets nationally and on-premise venues. Cans will be exclusively available at Dan Murphy’s and BWS.
