Idle Hour Vodka have launched a new brand and Australia’s first tequila soda range.
Delgados Tequila Soda is made with authentic tequila from Jalisco, Mexico and is carefully blended with soda water and real fruit juice to create a finished drink that tastes light, crisp and refreshing. Delgados Tequila Soda is available in three flavours Lime + Basil, Grapefruit + Jalapeno, Pineapple + Ginger that can be consumed straight from the can, poured over ice or used as the base for your own custom cocktail.
Drawing from the nostalgic jet-set era of Acapulco, the Delgados brand is bursting with the spirit of a Mexican vacation. The brand’s vibrant visual identity stands apart in a category defined by a sea of minimalist cans.
“We have built Delgados to be the ultimate escape. Think Acapulco in its heyday, a typical day consisted of lounging by the pool and watching the evening sun sink into the Pacific. The launch comes after the continued growth of the RTD segment, premium spirits and Tequila in particular. The RTD segment according to a recent report from IbisWorld is set to grow 2.4% between 2020-21 equating to a market share of $1.1 billion in Australia.
