White Claw Surge will be available in Australia before the month’s end. Coming in Blackberry and Bloody Orange flavours, Surge packs a mightier punch with an ABV of 6.5 per cent, compared to White Claw Hard Seltzer which has an ABV of 4.5.

It is still low carbs with no artificial sweeteners and is naturally gluten-free, crafted with sparkling water, alcohol and a hint of natural fruit flavour, to deliver a new surge of pure refreshment, a hard seltzer like no other.

Since its launch in 2016 White Claw has revolutionised the alcohol category for those who want to live balanced  and conscious lives, offering a lower calorie alternative to other products on the market.

Scott Walton, President of Mark Anthony Brands International said: “We are excited to extend the White Claw range in Australia. When we first launched here in October 2020, we sold one million cans in the first week!”

Today, the hard seltzer category is worth AUD$210m and growing, up almost 200 per cent year to year. White Claw was the number one contributor to value growth last summer.

Walton said, “Globally, there has been an overwhelmingly positive response to White Claw Surge which is worth over USD$70m in the US. As the global leader in the hard seltzer category, I am confident we will see similar success here in Australia with these two delicious flavours, Blood Orange and Blackberry.”

White Claw Surge will be available nationwide from Monday 14 November at bottle shops and stores right around Australia. $30 for a 4 pack.
