The third instalment of Future Proof, a bi-annual forum presented by Paramount Liquor, is set to take place in South Australia for the first time this coming 9 April. The event will be held at Adelaide’s Electra House and follows on from successful 2023 events in both Sydney and Brisbane

Similar to past editions, attendees should expect Future Proof Adelaide to specifically cater to hospitality professionals, offering a combination of enriched conversations, liquor industry insights, and networking opportunities both with suppliers and fellow hospitality trade.

“Following successful Future Proof events in Sydney and Brisbane during 2023, Paramount Liquor is excited to bring Future Proof to Adelaide,” said Nathan Rowe, CEO of Paramount Liquor.

“It will be a night of new experiences and meaningful discussions. Guests will leave Future Proof Adelaide looking ahead and excited by what the future will bring.”

The evening will feature three panel discussions specifically tailored to Adelaide’s on-premise trade, all hosted by Boothby Media’s editor and founder Sam Bygrave. Bygrave was also the host at the Sydney and Brisbane Future Proof events.

The first panel, ‘Future Proof Your Brand,’ will see Bygrave joined by Co-Founder and Brand Director of Never Never Gin Sean Baxter, and Cara Devine, Bar Owner, Drinks author and communicator from Behind the Bar.

The second panel will follow the theme of ‘Future Proof Our Industry’ and will feature award winning Maybe Mae bartender Nick Corletto and Sam Thornhill from Melbourne’s Bydri.

The final panel will be centred around ‘Future Proof Adelaide’ and will include commentary from wine and restaurant professional Meira Harel, Co-Founder and CEO of the Big Easy Group Oliver ‘OJ’ Brown, and Founder of the Gonzo Group Jon Di Pinto.

The Future Proof event reinforces Paramount Liquor’s traditionally strong on-premise presence following its recently outlined plan for off-premise growth in 2024 and beyond. This plan includes the launch of its new banner group BottleStop, the growth of its Sessions stores, and the establishment of a new national retail team. The new banner group was announced at Paramount Liquor’s inaugural off-premise-specific Re:Tail event in Melbourne on February 27.

“Paramount is proud of its ongoing commitment to facilitate connections and educate the industry,” said Nathan Rowe.

“We are anticipating a strong year in the retail sector and excited to be bolstering Sessions by adding more stores across all states, and the addition of our new banner group, BottleStop.”

Fututre Proof Adelaide will take place on Tuesday 9 April between 6 and 10 pm. Registrations for the free event are essential and can be made here.
