On Tuesday, August 8, Future Proof, a new bi-annual forum presented by Paramount Liquor, heads to Brisbane for a night of drinks, discussion and discovery aimed at Queensland-based liquor industry professionals.
Nathan Rowe, one of two Directors at Paramount Liquor, said the evening will be filled with enriching conversations, informative insights about the liquor industry and networking opportunities with suppliers and like-minded professionals.
“August 8 will be a night of new experiences and meaningful discussions. Guests will leave Future Proof Brisbane looking ahead and excited by what the future will bring. Paramount is proud to facilitate connections and educate the industry,” he said.
A series of panel discussions hosted by industry heavyweights have been created with Queensland’s on-premise attendees in mind and will share insights and explore solutions to common challenges the industry faces.
Sam Bygrave, Editor and Founder of Boothby Media, will host three panel discussions drawing on his 20 years of experience as a bartender, wine and spirits buyer and writer. Highlights include:
Panel discussion 1: Future Proof your Brand with Wade Tiller from Hard Fizz and Daisy Tulley from the Mucho Group.
Panel discussion 2: Future Proof Our Industry with award-winning bartender Evan Stroeve. A discussion around sustainable practices, education and development within the industry.
Panel discussion 3: Future Proof Brisbane with Jamie Fleming from Alba Bar & Deli, award-winning hospitality operator Bonnie Shearston from the newly opened Ruby, My Dear and high-achieving bartender Andie Bulley from Savile Row and The 86 Club. An open chat about the career opportunities in Brisbane’s hospitality scene.
Carlton & United Beverages has partnered with Paramount Liquor on the evening to support attendance for Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast customers. There will be complimentary buses from pickup locations at the Gold Coast (Surfers Paradise) and the Sunshine Coast (Noosa & Woombye).
