Eighteen months since its launch, Versa Cocktails’ pre-mixed Negroni is now stocked at Dan Murphy’s right around the country.
“We didn’t antcipate the level of demand we’ve seen,” says James Longo, who founded the brand in 2020, when, like many of us, he found himself making more drinks at home.
“Marking the end of the day with a mixed drink was essential for me during the Melbourne lockdowns, and I realised that many people tentative about making Negroni’s at home.
The Versa Negroni is mixed with the tradi8onal combination of Gin, Campari and Vermouth, prioritising quality, craftsmanship and culture.
“I drew on my Italian heritage when creating the premium recipe, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. People love the idea of simply pouring and enjoying, especially if they’re in a social setting or short on time,” Longo says.
The 700ml bottle serves nine glasses, ideal for dinner parties and gatherings.
Due to increasing demand, the Aussie-made, Italian-inspired Versa Negroni is being enjoyed across the country, available in 74 Dan Murphy’s stores and online, along with 100 independent bottle stores.
