Despite Omicron breakthroughs and Serbian unrest, all Melbournians are thrilled the city of sporting events is hosting the Australian Open (AO) with all its pomp, ceremony and world-class tennis. But none is more excited than long-time supporter, Canadian Club (CC), with not one but two clubhouses serving ice cold CC’s to thirsty tennis lovers in 2022, the Canadian Club Racquet Club and the new Canadian Club Soda & Lime Garden.
Canadian Club is the official dark spirits sponsor of the Australian Open and the longest-standing beverage partner. The Canadian Club Racquet Club (CCRC) celebrates eight successful years at the iconic grassy AO Hilltop (Birrarung Marr) outside the arena. It’s where punters can sip CC Soda & Lime RTDs and Perfect Serves of CC & Dry on tap while soaking up the atmosphere, the summer rays and watching the world’s best tennis play out on the big screen.
To complete the CCRC experience, tennis fans can get into picnic mode with food from the Beatbox Kitchen or Taco Truck and party mode with Melbourne’s finest DJs hitting the decks every day across the two weeks, kicking off with the launch party on 17 January. The first fifty people through the door will score a free ground pass for Saturday 22 January.
Entry to the CCRC is free of charge for anyone over 18 and will be open every day from midday throughout the AO.
The brand-new Canadian Club Soda & Lime Garden, located in the heart of the action at the Grand Slam Oval, will be accessible to AO ticketholders and ground pass holders. The new garden club offers guests a chilled-out atmosphere with chilled serves of Canadian Club Soda & Lime complete with a big screen, so there is no chance of missing any memorable live moments on the court.
