Banks Botanicals have moved into the RTD space with the Banks Herbarium & Pink Grapefruit Tonic, made with mountain-fresh Yarra Valley water to distil the distinctive notes of cassia, lemon myrtle, lime, wattleseed and wild Tasmanian pepperberry, and blended it with pink grapefruit tonic.
The result is a refreshing, non-alcoholic, ready-to-drink cocktail, to be enjoyed straight from the can or over ice garnished with a slice of ruby grapefruit.
It’s all natural – with no artificial colours or flavours – low in sugar (only 9 calories) and vegan.
Founders Yolanda Uys and Brian Cohen say, “We see the RTD product format as being increasingly important to the non-alcoholic spirits category. We know people are curious to trial non-alcoholic spirits and by launching Banks in a RTD format, it provides a more affordable trial price for new consumers to the category, while ensuring a sophisticated, bold and premium drink.”
Banks Herbarium & Pink Grapefruit Tonic won a silver medal in the 2022 IWSC’s Low & No Alc Alternative Drinks awards, which were announced in mid July.
