Asahi Premium Beverages has announced its newest addition to the Canadian whisky family.

Aged for three years in oak barrels, Wild Moose (RRP $23.99/$21.99) is a blend of 100 per cent Canadian Grain Whisky and premium dry ginger ale, with a hint of lime flavour.

Kelly Jones, Dark Spirits Brand Category Manager says, “Canadian Whisky (RTDs) is one of the fastest growing dark RTD segments in the Australian market”.

“Asahi Premium Beverages is extremely excited to expand its dark RTD portfolio, and we think Aussies will appreciate the care we’ve taken to ensure Wild Moose upholds the authentic flavours of 100 per cent Canadian Grain Whisky”.

Wild Moose will be available in a 375ml can six-pack (4.8% ABV) format in early October 2015 nationally through independent retailers. POS and a sampling program will support the beverage in-store, while Asahi Premium Beverages intends to launch consumer promotion in 2016.
