The Victorian Chapter of Women in drinks is holding a networking event on March 24, with the theme ‘Taking hold of your career.’

Guest speaker Kellie Barnes from Carlton & United Breweries will share her career story. Kellie is the Coles Sales Director at CUB and has successfully navigated a transition from IT into sales. She is one of only a few female Sales Directors to work for a beer supplier in Australia and the first ever Regional Sales Director at CUB.

The purpose of Women in drinks is to inspire, support and educate to create a diverse and inclusive drinks industry.

More than 50 women and men from CUB, Brown Brothers, Treasury Wine Estates, Dan Murphy’s, BWS, Australian Vintage, De Bortoli and Thirsty Camel gathered at Dan Murphy’s Alphington headquarters for the inaugural gathering.

Christine Khor, Managing Director of Chorus Executive, gave a fascinating presentation that focussed on how women can maximise their LinkedIn profiles and personal brand.
