Wine and dine with Petaluma at Nobu Melbourne

Petaluma Wines and Nobu Melbourne will give diners an exclusive opportunity to experience Nobu’s indulgent Omakase tasting menu paired with a selection of wines by Petaluma. 

Starting this Friday, May 5, and running to May 31, Melbourne food and wine lovers can experience an indulgent seven-course menu inspired by flavours of the world that have been carefully paired with wines handpicked by Petaluma winemaker Ben Thoman. 

The Nobu x Petaluma experience will feature wines from Petaluma’s latest vintage that complement the menu’s innovative flavours, featuring Salmon Tartare with Caviar, Chef’s Selection Nigiri, Beef with Truffle Teriyaki and Seasonal Mushroom, as well as Chef Nobu’s speciality Black Cod Miso.

Thoman’s wine choices encompass a variety of Petaluma’s finest offerings, including:

  • Second Blooming by Petaluma Pét Nat 2022
  • Petaluma Hanlin Hill Riesling 2022 
  • Petaluma Piccadilly Chardonnay 2022 
  • Petaluma B&V Vineyard Shiraz 2021 
  • Petaluma Evans Vineyard Coonawarra 2018
  • Limited release Petaluma Hanlin Hill Cane Cut Riesling 2018

Since opening to the public in 2007, Nobu by Nobuyuki Matsuhisa has established itself at the forefront of Melbourne’s food scene, with a recognisable Japanese heritage inspired by international flavours.
