Wayward’s call to the armchair

Seven years since Wayward Brewing opened the doors of its Camperdown brewery and Taproom, it is now set to open a plusher new venue in Sydney’s Inner West a short walk from Marrickville Station.

The Wayward Speakeasy opens next week with cocktails aplenty, happy hour pricing and Vietnamese street food on offer. Not a brewing warehouse, this venue is decked out with vintage sofas and booths, designed to be a place you can sink into and stay for hours.

There are ten taps of limited release and small batch beer from the brewery, as well as brews from their Local Drinks Collective partners, Batch Brewing Co on offerr and downstairs is the Local Drinks Collective bottle shop, offering a wide selection of local independent craft beer from around Australia and further afield. The shop has a carefully curated list of great Australian wines including a good range of natural wines and a selection of spirits and snacks.

Patrons can take bottles from the store up to the Local Drinks Collective for a small corkage fee.
