Sydney’s premium ice supplier, Bare Bones Ice Co (BBIC) is stocked in some of the city’s leading venues and is now available to consumers at Dan Murphy’s Alexandria and P&V Merchants in Newtown.
Lance Friedman, Category Manager for Complementary Categories, Endeavour Drinks, said: “We know that consumers are looking for a more premium experience across all categories but especially in spirits and mixed drinks. As trends like making cocktails at home continue, we want to offer customers the opportunity to have a bar quality ice to pair with their favourite drink. And super-premium, ultra-clear ice is something we have never been able to offer until now.
French-born bartender Damien Liot established Bare Bones in 2017. He is committed to creating ice that looks beautiful, is perfectly clear, and melts slowly, to make the finest cocktails in the world.

To meet the growing demand, Mr Liot and his team are expanding their operations with a new factory, upgraded equipment, a bigger fleet of drivers and vehicles and are hiring more staff.
“We have never had such demand for our bespoke Old Fashioned and Collins single blocks and we are simply trying to keep up with the surge in demand since hospitality started back up”, Mr Liot said.
“We are excited to be available at Dan Murphy’s and P&V and we hope more people will come to realise that a great drink needs the world’s best ice”.
