Oakridge CEO departs for McLaren Vale’s Mollydooker

As news arrives of Endeavour’s acquisition of Yarra Valley winery Oakridge Wines, so does the news that Matthew Taylor has left his position as CEO and already taken up his new appointment as Chief Commercial Officer for McLaren Vales’ Mollydooker Wines, charged with growing brand.

Taylor will lead Mollydooker’s Sales, Marketing and Operational areas including strategic planning.

Mollydooker Wines’ CEO and founder Sarah Marquis said: “Throughout his career Matt has demonstrated the ability to build winning and engaged teams, which perfectly suits the culture we are growing here at Mollydooker. With his extensive experience and shared connection to our vision and values, we are looking forward to his amazing input into our team and the brand.”

Taylor has also worked with Yalumba as Executive Marketing Director and has extensive international drinks industry experience with SABMiller in Central Europe and Latin America.

Taylor says: “It is a great place to work, has an enviable footprint in the USA and an outstanding track record in all things ‘direct to consumer’. I look forward to working with the team to help take Mollydooker to the next level in its incredible journey.”
