William Grant and Sons (WG&S) has announced that it has appointed Colin Rochester as it’s new General Manager, replacing Brian Sharp who left the business on March 19.

Mr. Rochester joins from Think Spirits, but was also previously Managing Director at Bacardi Lion and has further held senior sales and general management positions at Bulmers and Fosters Australia.

On announcement of the appointment, Chris Mason, Managing Director at WG&S said: “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Colin Rochester as General Manager – Australia and New Zealand.

“Colin brings a wealth of experience in the beer, wine and spirits industry to William Grant and Sons and joins us at an exciting time for the business.”

Mr. Rochester’s first day in the role will be on Monday 13 April.
