BWS bartender initiative upskills cocktail lovers

BWS and Diageo have teamed up to launch a six-week content series, Bartenders at Home with BWS, a virtual experience aimed at supporting local bartenders and upskilling cocktail lovers from the comfort of their own homes.

Hosted by Krystal Hart, Diageo World Class Ambassador, the series will feature Aussie bartenders showcasing their favourite at-home cocktails.

Hosted on the BWS Facebook page via live broadcast, six episodes will take place every Friday from 5:30pm-6:00pm throughout May and June.

Each week, Hart will host a session alongside a different bartender where they will create and show users how to make an exclusive cocktail recipe.

Every Tuesday, BWS will release a Facebook event detailing the ingredients and spirits required for Fridays masterclass.

This Friday, May 22, and will feature Rohan Massie, bartender at Rude Boy in Hobart, constructing the cocktail Tanqueray Sunset over Savilla.

Bartenders at Home with BWS will conclude on Friday, June 19. Participants must be over 18.
