The date for everyone’s favourite winter wine festival has been announced. Winter Reds in the Adelaide Hills will take place from 23-25 July 2021. This annual celebration sees wineries open up their Cellar Doors, light the fire pit, crack open their wines and embrace the winter.

This year’s theme is ‘What’s Your Red?’ – with wineries creating their own special experiences that champion the best of their red wines. There will be tutored tastings, parties, lunches of seasonal produce paired with wines, and a host of other events, all packed into one weekend. While the cosiness of winters by the fire evokes a matching glass of Shiraz, Pinot Noir or Cabernet Sauvignon, there’ll be plenty of other wines on offer for those that don’t favour the red varietals.

Jared Stringer, president, Adelaide Hills Wine Region comments, “Winter Reds is one of our most popular events of the year – South Aussies and those from further afield can’t wait to rug up, head up to the Hills, enjoy the fresh air and cosy up by a log fire with a glass of their favourite red. After a slightly more subdued event last year due to restrictions, we’re looking forward to a weekend of fun times and great wines to fight off the winter blues.”

Details of specific events will be confirmed in June and shared at https://www.winterreds.com.au/
