Entrepreneurial Perth twins Sharon and Michelle Marsh are utilising their fame from quirky reality TV show: Married at First Sight to create a wine empire.

The wine range called Twiins, aptly for identical sisters, is set to launch early October after months of hard work and pre-launch marketing.

The women featured on the reality show earlier this year, giving them the opportunity to accumulate between 80,000-97,000 Instagram followers each. Their active social media profiles, and already successful business owned by Sharon: Marsh Daly Cleaning, gives the twins a huge marketing advantage for their new brand.

Michelle says she was inspired by her work abroad, while Sharon has successfully been running her cleaning business in Perth, already acquiring entrepreneurial experience and ready to take the plunge with her sister.

“We just believe in following your desires, your dreams and for a long time we were scared to start our own business,” Michelle told AAA.

“I was living in London [and] was the buyer for a bar over there, so I came to know that the Margaret River region was quite popular.

“We went down there and we had a lot of meetings with winemakers and we found a very enthusiastic one.”

The Marsh twins have created three blends of wine and admitted they were easy-drinking “session wines”, that are made to be enjoyed while “relax[ing] at sunset over a nice tasting plate,” Sharon said.

The anticipated wines have a fitting label to match, designed by artist Sophie Kipner.

“Thanks to our artist @skipner (Sophie Kipner). [She] is very unique in the way she does not lift her brush from start to finish. Perfection was not our aim as no one is,” says Sharon.
