Tribe Breweries updates Wilde & Mornington ranges

The Tribe Breweries team took attendees through a formal tasting and discussed the latest innovations for Wilde, unveiling two new brands and a new look for its Wilde range of products at its brewery in Marrickville, Sydney last week.

Guests were treated to a tasting paddle of the new brews, including Wilde Guru – a new sparkling hop water available in Natural and Lemon & Lime Flavours, followed by Wilde Isotonic, Australia’s first-ever non-alcoholic Isotonic beer.

Wilde Isotonic is naturally brewed (and tastes) just like a regular beer.  However, instead of dehydrating you and pulling nutrients out of your body, it replenishes you by adding lost electrolytes and essential vitamins.

Tribe say that Wilde Isotonic is a healthier non-alcoholic beer or sports-drink alternative, perfect for sharing with mates post exercise,  drinking at festivals or even adding to your pub nights as the ideal ‘beer back’ between alcoholic beverages.

Roland Thiemann, Head of Innovation at Tribe Breweries says, “In the last year alone, we have seen the no-to-low (NOLO) alcohol drinks category increase by nearly 3 per cent and concurrently, our alcohol consumption rates decrease. Mindful Drinking is no longer just a fad or trend, but a way of life that many Aussies are adopting. And so, as they embrace this, Tribe Breweries brands like Wilde and Mornington Free want to ensure that there are incredible LONO alternatives available to them that are better for them, whilst also ensuring they don’t compromise on flavour or quality.”

The tasting was capped off with the newly re-designed Wilde Lager, an alcoholic gluten free beer from the original Wilde portfolio.

Wilde

Wilde products have become bar staples across the country growing alongside consumer demand for better for you products. The brand is best known for its Wilde Crisp Lager and Wilde Pale Ale, both vegan, FODMAP friendly, and endorsed by Coeliac Australia.

The new look for Wilde includes a colourful packaging and logo update, as well as a switch from bottle necks to 375mL cans – in order to reduce waste and minimise the environmental impact. This packaging change also supports customers in experiencing life on the go in the ‘wild’ – with ease of use across outdoor activities such as festivals, BBQs and camping trips in mind.

Wilde has also increased its core range to a 16-pack, which provides consumers greater value for money, supports easier transport and encourages wider consideration from typical ‘beer’ drinkers who may be open to ‘better for you’ beer alternatives.

Mornington Peninsula Brewery (MPB)

The event was also an opportunity to launch a new packaging look for MPB, along with its new non-alcoholic beer. Since launching their first non-alcoholic beer in 2021, Mornington Free Pale Ale became the second most sold product in the entire MPB range.

The packaging redesign puts the recognisable MPB logo at the front and centre, and uses stronger colours and coastal cues such as waves, cliffs and ocean colours that pays homage to its namesake, the beautiful coastline of The Mornington Peninsula.

Tribe breweries currently facilitates and distributes the following brands in Australia:
