For the first time ever, the Wine Communicator of the Year Award has gone to a Cellar Door team. @oliverstaranga won the award. Th family owned and run winery has been making wine in McLaren Vale for more than 180 years. GM Sam Oliver and cellar door managers Mark van Gestel, Melody and Lee were all at the awards presentation at @urban_winery_sydney last night. Congratulations to them and thanks to our hosts @urban_winery_sydney, @winecomaust & @prue_kline.

We were lucky enough to sample Jack Daniel’s Bonded Tennesse Whiskey in Sydney today. It’s the first premium release in 25 years and is a permanent addition to the collection.
