Australian online beverage retailer Boozebud has created BestBud, a collection of dog drinks including bottles of Pawroni, cans of Paw Blonde and Pawsecco, each hand-blended by a pet nutritionist.
Containing zero alcohol, preservatives or carbonation, these pet drinks are crafted by L’Barkery in Queensland with premium dog and cat-friendly ingredients (known for assisting with bone joint muscle and cartilage health).
Australia has one of the highest pet ownership rates in the world, with approximately 69% of households in Australia owning pets, with dogs being the most common (48%), followed by cats (33%). Allegedly, over half of Aussie pet owners say they regularly or occasionally enjoy having a beer or wine with their feline or canine companion.
Pure Profile research conducted in November among cat and dog owners reveals the average Australian cat and dog owner will spend approximately $75 on their fur baby this Christmas, with one in three spending $100 or more.
To appeal to the big spenders, BoozeBud has created a limited edition BestBud Hamper, including a bottle of Pawroni, can of Paw Blonde, a Santa Cigar (edible treat) and a BestBud pet travel bowl – suitable for both cats and dogs, valued at over $40 and retailing for $27.
