The Wine Communicators of Australia 2019 WCA Sydney Royal Wine Show Trophy Winners Lunch has moved back to where it originated, Sydney Showground.
Held on Friday, August 16, the WCA Sydney Royal Wine Show Trophy Winners Lunch provides a chance to be immersed in this year’s trophy and award winning wines.
Guests will hear from the Chair of Judges PJ Charteris and International Wine Judge, Rod Smith MW, while enjoying a three-course meal, featuring Sydney Royal medal winning produce.
As in previous years, lunch ticket holders will be provided access to the Exhibitor and Trade Tasting – an opportunity to try 2200 medal-winning wines from 2019 KPMG Sydney Royal Wine Show at Sydney Showground.
In order to help guest with transportation, WCA are providing a complimentary ‘one way’ bus transfer for lunch ticket holders.
A highlight of the day is the announcement of the winner of the 2019 NSW Legend of the Vine. This prestigious award recognises an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Australian wine industry. Previous winners include: 2018 Huon Hooke, 2017 Clive Hartley, 2016 Iain Riggs, 2015 Rob Hirst and 2014 David Lowe.
Along with enjoying noteworthy, award and trophy winning wines, guests will have the opportunity to win raffle prizes and celebrate with more than 250 guests from all walks of the wine industry.
