Retail Drinks Australia has announced the finalists for this year’s Retail Drinks Industry Awards, to be held on 4 October 2023 in Sydney’s Doltone House Darling Island, in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting and Retail Drinks Industry Summit.
Michael Waters, CEO of Retail Drinks Australia, congratulated each finalist for their hard work and contributions to Australia’s retail liquor industry over the past year.
“Retail Drinks is delighted to run this important annual Awards Program, which recognises the success and hard work of people and companies in our industry across a wide range of categories,” he said.
Finalists in 11 categories have been selected across the retail and supplier sectors. These include Liquor Store Manager, Liquor Store, Large Format Liquor Store, Online Liquor Retailer, Young Liquor Retailer, Liquor Store Owner, Beer Supplier, Wine Supplier, Spirits Supplier, Services Partner and Sales Representative of the Year.
“Nominations across all categories grew by 8 per cent on last year to over 440 in total, and were 54 per cent higher in the individual awards categories, Owner, Manager and Young Liquor Retailer of the Year.
“On behalf of Retail Drinks, thank you to all retailer members who took the time to nominate, whether nominating your bricks and mortar or online liquor store or in one of the individual awards categories; congratulations to all finalists, and we look forward to celebrating with you at the Awards Presentation Dinner,” said Waters.
The awards presentation dinner will take place on 4 October 2023 in Sydney’s Doltone House Darling Island.
