Vranken-Pommery Australia has announced the arrival of its 2023 World Collection, named ‘Kashmir.’ This latest release draws inspiration from the mesmerizing paisley patterns of India and will be gracing the shelves in Australia this month.

This captivating collection opens the door for wine enthusiasts to enjoy Pommery Champagnes presented in five limited edition gift boxes.

The paisley motif designs, known as cashmere motifs, trace their origins back approximately 2,000 years and are thought to symbolize the essence of life and fertility.

These teardrop patterns come to life with vibrant colours and a touch of regal opulence accentuated by gold foiling, paying homage to the historical exchange of cashmere among members of the Persian monarchy during the 16th century.

The ‘KASHMIR’ collection boasts an array of Pommery Champagnes, including the iconic Pommery Brut Royal NV, a delicate and refined Brut Rosé NV, a smooth and exceptionally elegant Brut Apanage NV, a fresh yet creamy and complex Apanage Blanc de Blancs NV, and the coveted 2009 Grand Cru, steeped in history and crafted from seven of the Maison’s emblematic grand crus.

These cuvées are a testament to a rich and inspirational past. Madame Pommery, a woman navigating a predominantly male-dominated world, took the reins after her husband’s passing, forever altering the world’s perception of wine. Anticipating her customers’ evolving tastes, she pioneered the first commercially successful brut champagne, challenging the tradition of sweet wines and steadfastly striving for the utmost quality.

This formidable businesswoman immortalized her legacy by naming the cellars in Reims after the major cities touched by her Champagnes across the globe. Staying true to its international orientation, the World Collection continues to celebrate the art of travel each year with exquisitely designed gift boxes inspired by countries and continents from around the world.

Vranken-Pommery Australia serves as the local subsidiary of the esteemed French group Vranken-Pommery Monopole. As the largest winemaker in Europe and the second largest in Champagne, Vranken-Pommery Monopole is renowned for its premium offerings.
