To mark the Chinese New Year this Thursday, Diageo has released the limited edition Johnnie Walker Blue Label Year of the Ram.

The limited edition bottle design features the Chinese ram character, thought to bestow good fortune. The ram is depicted three times on the bottle in a Chinese ink painting and when four of the bottles are placed side-by-side they display a single image reminiscent of a Chinese scroll painting.

The bottle is royal deep blue in colour, inspired by original Chinese pottery and matching of the colour associated with Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Diageo believes the limited edition bottle will be popular among collectors.
