Two Birds Brewing are posing the question: “Which coast does beer better?” when the migrate west, taking their Nest to the West as part of WA Beer Week.

In a hot and humorous debate to be held on Sunday 5 June at Northbridge Brewing Co, the East will be represented by brewing legend Chuck Hahn, Two Birds trailblazer, Danielle Allen and MasterChef star and artist, Chris Badenoch.

Repping the West will be Master Brewer Ken Arrowsmith, MasterChef favourite Julia Jenkins and beer industry insider, Natalie Moeahu-Pehi.

The debate is part of a month-long Two Birds takeover of the iconic Northbridge Brewing Co, that sees the venue transformed into a feathery, tropical delight with a series of events, collab brewing, menu takeover and of course, the full range of Two Birds beers.

Two Birds Head Brewer Jayne Lewis said, “Some of our beers are inspired by WA, so it will be awesome to see our whole range along with some exclusive brews just for WA all pouring in our hometown”.

Australia’s first female-founded brewery, Two Birds Brewing was established by West Australian dynamic duo, Jayne Lewis and Danielle Allen, who are coming home to roost as part of Two Birds’ 11th Birthday celebrations.

Two Birds co-founder, Danielle Allen, said, “We’re very grateful to have the opportunity to showcase 11 taps for an entire month: it’s our biggest tap takeover in 11 years! Also, very much looking forward to hearing the words of wisdom from beer legends Chuck and Ken”.

In collaboration with Beerland Brewing, Two Birds have also created ‘Birds of Paradise’ – a juicy sour with pineapple, orange and guava to be launched on tap at Northbridge Brewing Co for all the lucky West Australian fans.
