Popular Queensland brewery Heads of Noosa is adding its Black Japanese Lager 5% to its core range.

Launched as a Limited Release earlier this year, it’s been so popular that it’s been added to the core range along with the Lager 3.5%, Amber Lager 4.8% and Japanese Style Lager 4.5%.

“As fans of Heads of Noosa know, we develop four limited-release brews every year. We launched the Black Japanese Lager back in July this year and were immediately overwhelmed by the response from our community. They loved it and demanded it join the family permanently. Who are we to deny the punters?” said Lance Masterton, Head Brewer, Heads of Noosa.

The Black Japanese Lager 5% is a culmination and balance of two worlds, both delicate and dark. The delicateness of the OG Japanese Style Lager, brewed with rice for its crisp, clean finish, meets the world of roasted malt flavours that make it deliciously dark in flavour and light on the palate and easily enjoyable.

Heads of Noosa Core Range also includes:

Japanese Style Lager 4.5% Australian barley and rice play a lead role in creating this popular signature lager. Brewed, fermented and filtered with precision. This lager is clean, crisp and delicately divine.

Lager 3.5 is a refreshing mid-strength beer brewed with a blend of specialty malts and fermented cold for a clean and crisp mouthfeel. This beer is filtered, making it easy on the eye and the palate. Full-flavoured, but with 3.5% ABV you can stay for one more.

Amber Lager 4.8% This American Style Amber Lager is brewed with a blend of six malts and is delicately dry-hopped. Inspired by the sunsets of Noosa, designed for after-dark.

About Heads of Noosa: Heads of Noosa started in a garage in Brisbane in 2010 and now operates out of a 1700sqm site in the industrial precinct in Noosa Heads, employing over 40 staff who live and breathe the company values Heads of Noosa was built on.

When setting up the brewery and choosing a location, brothers Lance and Craig Masterton settled on Noosa Heads because as they say, it’s one of the most beautiful places on earth with gorgeous beaches, stunning sunsets and lush hinterland surrounds.
