Lyre’s has been awarded Double Gold for its Aperitif Rosso non-alcoholic spirit at the inaugural Concours d’Spirits competition.

It was one of only five double gold medals presented across all categories and the only non-alcohol product to be bestowed the honour in a field of traditional alcohol products.

Concours d’Spirits is judged blind by 12 world renowned palates and leaders within the wine and spirits industry. It was held during SommCon in San Diego, California, earlier this month.

Aperitif Rosso is part of Lyre’s premium range of 13 non-alcoholic spirit variants.

The series is crafted to pay homage to the flavours of the world’s most classic, time tested spirits while giving consumers the freedom to enjoy their drink their way.

“It’s incredibly unexpected and very much appreciated that within six months of launching, our range of Lyre’s non-alcoholic spirits are being recognised this way,” said Mark Livings, Co-Founder & CEO.

“These judges are some of the best credentialed palates in the beverage world, so for our non-alcoholic range to better alcoholic equivalents is virtually unprecedented.

“Responses like this give us great confidence that our range gives people real freedom to choose and enjoy a low or no alcohol drink.”
