Estrella Damm, the number one beer brand in Barcelona, will now be distributed in Australia through Asahi Premium Beverages. Prior to 2016, Drinkworks had been the appointed distributor for the brewery’s flagship beer.

Estrella Damm now joins APB’s premium beer portfolio, which includes Asahi Super Dry, Kingfisher Lager, Cricketers Arms and Mountain Goat, which also recently aquired by the company.

“We are looking forward to driving success for Estrella Damm under the direction of the APB business as the team takes lead of the beer’s agreement for sales, marketing campaigns and distribution rights within Australia”, Scott Hadley, Chief Commercial Officer at APB told media.

“Our intention is to leverage the strengths of Asahi Premium Beverages to deliver an ambitious growth”, Hadley added.

APB will be distributing the lager in 30L draught kegs and 330ml bottles to both on- and off-premise channels.
