Breaking records this September is 4 Pines’ latest Keller Door Small Batch beer, West Coast Red Rye IPA.

To make sure consumers can purchase the beer at its freshest, 4 Pines delivered this new release to a number of Sydney bottle shops within an hour of bottling.

The new release is an American style IPA – aromatic, full-flavoured, bold and bitter; think toast and raisins with a zesty aroma of orange and currents.

The use of a hefty 50 per cent rye in this brew gives it somewhat of a ‘spiciness’, adding to the intensity of the crisp finish provided by hops Citra and Amarillo. Both these hops are also found in the 4 Pines Pale ale, but have been given an added boost in the Rye IPA for a West Coast touch.
