Young-Henrys-Noble-Cut-PR2While up until now their forte has been brewing, Young Henrys has decided to dip its toes into the spirit market with the release of Noble Cut Gin.

Noble Cut Gin is a handcrafted small batch gin, made using local and where possible, sustainable ingredients and unusually, made with a combination of brewing and distillation blending techniques and flavours.

Just like Young Henrys’ beer, Noble Cut Gin is 100 per cent grain. Noble Cut Gin botanicals include juniper, coriander, orange peel, cassia bark, liquorice root and angelica root, as well as Australian pepper-berry and bush tomatoes, locally grown sencha tea and a pinch of cascara, sourced from the skin of the coffee beans from Toby’s Estate. Noble Cut has also been created with locally grown and developed Enigma Hops, to give a mineral complexity to the gin that you’d often expect from a fine white wine.

Young Henrys will launch Noble Cut Batch 1 into the on-premise on Good Friday Eve – Thursday April 2, with participating venues being asked to create a signature cocktail with Noble Cut Gin. Noble Cut Gin will then be available to bottle shops and other venues from April 10.

The release of Noble Cut Gin points to a change in direction for Young Henrys, who are set to also release a whisky in the near future.

RRP: $75
