Yalumba will launch a new look for Y Series, including a new label design and creative campaign, to the global market in August.
The refreshed look heroes the distinctive signature letter ‘Y’, playfully connecting the wine label to life moments – from a sip with friends on New Year’s Eve to Friday night footy.
Crafted with fruit from South Australia’s most celebrated wine regions, the Y Series collection embraces emerging varieties that are sustainably produced with lower alcohol in an approachable, medium-bodied style.
Marketing Manager Jacinta Gibson said, “The Y Series features a broad collection of refreshing, fruit-driven wines from a trusted family-owned winery. Y Series was born from an inspired philosophy to create wines with the lightest of touch, allowing the natural variety to sing.”
“Consumers can confidently explore different varieties in their purest form at an affordable price point,” she said.
The collection features twelve popular red and white wine varieties, including a new wine – Pinot Noir.
“Like many lighter-bodied red styles, Pinot Noir is becoming very popular with wine drinkers, and we grow wonderful Pinot Noir fruit in South Australia,” said Ms Gibson.
“Expect classic Pinot aromatics of strawberry and cranberry, violets and spearmint with some nice spice on the finish. The palate is vibrant and fresh, packed with red fruits and dried herbs.”
The new label design features 12 original pieces of artwork created by South Australian artist Cindy Durant. Each artwork is inspired by her visit to Yalumba and depicts a layer of the vineyard, from sun to soil to wind.
All Y Series wines are vegan friendly, gluten free and 100 per cent wild fermented.
Y Series wines are available at Yalumba.com and local liquor stores for RRP $15.
