Torquay Beverage Company (TBC) have announced a retail partnership with Woolworths Liquor Group for the release of their hard seltzer, NoSh Boozy Seltzer. The partnership is expected to treble the size of TBC, the product innovation, brand development and incubation arm of Mighty Craft.

The Woolworths Liquor Group agreement will see NoSh Boozy Seltzers sold nationally in over 500 retail liquor stores across five states from October 2021, as well as being stocked in 300 BWS and Dan Murphy stores and sold at 200 independent liquor retailers.

The launch is more good news for parent company, Founders First Limited whose maiden ASX listed financial year results were released earlier this week. Performance reflected strong growth and momentum with gains in income (+160%) and wholesale revenue (+113%), and their distribution network expanding by 151%.

Managing Director Mark Haysman said: “I’m extremely proud of what the Founders First Team has achieved in FY20. Our results are strong, growth is accelerating and we are executing our strategy at pace during these challenging times.”

“There is a huge opportunity in front of us to create a significant and sustainable craft business that benefits our shareholders, partners and the craft beverage industry in this country. The macro theme surrounding craft is here to stay and given the calibre of our team we are uniquely positioned to solve industry-specific problems and create a thriving craft beverage business.”

Founded in 2017, Founders First (ASX:FFL) aims to build the world’s strongest craft beverage collective through supporting and growing independent craft brewery and distillery businesses. Mighty Craft is the all-encompassing and client facing brand created by Founders First.

Other FY20 milestones for Founders First included listing on the ASX, four acquisitions, eight equity investments and growth through Q3 and Q4 despite the impact of COVID-19. They also expanded into whisky with the first batch of premium Tasmanian and Kangaroo Island Whisky released recently.
