It’s been a bumper week for new drinks releases. Leading the pack are two premium canned cocktails from Aussie company Curatif.

With the premixed spirit category up 40% in the past 12 months and consumers aspiring towards premium experiential moments, Curatif has created the Four Pillars Negroni and Archie Rose Espresso Martini in a can.

The canned cocktails are available from Dan Murphy’s and selected liquor stores throughout Australia and from www.curatif.com. Espresso Martini RRP $12 (individual), $45 (four-pack), $270 (case); Negroni – $13 (individual), $50 (four-pack), $300 (case).

Bombay Sapphire Limited Edition English Estate

Bacardi has announced the launch of Bombay Sapphire Limited Edition: English Estate – a gin inspired by the landscape surrounding the brand’s home in the English countryside.

The first in a series of limited edition product innovations due from the brand in the coming years, the citrus notes of Bombay Sapphire have been delicately infused with three new botanicals in the limited edition London Dry Gin: Pennyroyal mint, Rosehip and toasted hazelnut.

The limited edition will be available for 12 months only at key bottleshops in Australia.

Billson's beer

Beechworth brewery Billson’s has released its first batch of Australian Ale and Matured Stout in over 100 years.

Head Brewer & Distiller Tony Paull has faithfully recreated original hand-written recipes dating back to 1888.

Both can designs were heavily inspired by the original labels found on-site.

Nikka Coffey Whisky released in Australia

Asahi Premium Beverages has announced it is releasing Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky into the Australian market this month.

Launched in 2014, Nikka Coffey Malt won Japanese Whisky of the Year in Jim Murray’s 2018 Whisky Bible. First published in 2003, Jim Murray’s “Whisky Bible” is considered one of the world’s most respected and expert whisky publications.

Nikka’s Coffey Malt Whisky (700ml, 45% ABV, RRP $130) is available at select premium venues and stores.

Twenty Third St Distillery Single Malt Whisky

Twenty Third Street Distillery has launched the first all-Australian Single Malt Whisky.

The limited-edition spirit has already won Gold at the 2019 World Whisky Awards under the Australian Single Malt category.

The whisky is so unique that only 4200 bottles have been produced. It’s available online, from selected retailers and from the distillery in Renmark.
