Moët Hennessy Australia is launching the drink of summer, Chandon Garden Spritz, perfect for those ready to socialise as temperatures rise and restrictions ease around the country.
Chandon Garden Spritz is a ready to chill and ready to share blend of Chandon’s exceptional sparkling wine and locally crafted orange bitters. With its natural orange hue and designed to be served over ice with a slice of dried orange and a sprig of rosemary, Chandon Garden Spritz is perfect for picnics, afternoon drinks, aperitif moments and brunch. Created by the Chandon team of artisan winemakers in the Yarra Valley, Garden Spritz is a high-quality Australian take on the traditional spritz experience, and set to take centre stage in the country’s best bars and restaurants.
In their quest to create the perfect spritz, the Chandon winemaking team began their journey experimenting with naval and blood oranges sourced from local, sustainable farms. They then fused these with orange peels and natural herbs and spices to create a truly Australian take on the spritz experience. A labour of love, the recipe took over four years to perfect.
The bespoke, sustainably sourced orange bitters in Garden Spritz are testament to the winemaker’s savoir-faire, blending fresh, macerated and baked peels, the marmalade character and the freshness of oranges with woody, aromatic spices. The bitters are then artfully mixed with Chandon Brut Rosé to create a spritz that is naturally delicious and refined, without the overbearing sweetness of traditional spritzes. True artisans, the winemakers have crafted Garden Spritz with no artificial flavours and no artificial colours.
As with all Chadon wines, Garden Spritz is made in the méthode traditionnelle, with at least nine months maturation before being blended with the signature orange bitters.
