Salvatore “The Maestro” Calabrese, one of the world’s leading bartenders, will have his very own Acqua Bianca distributed by Stuart Alexander in Australia.
De Kuyper Royal Distillers created Acqua Bianca in partnership with Calabrese and takes you on a journey of discovery with the revival and reimagining of a recipe from an antique bartender’s book.
Acqua Bianca, the 24% ABV liqueur, is created using ingredients such as lemon, bergamot, peppermint and rose, as well as essence of ambergris, which is traditionally used in perfumery.
Calabrese said: “My idea was to create something totally unusual that does not yet exist in the market. It had to be something very versatile – a liqueur to inspire new cocktails, and that is able to take the centre stage in any cocktail creation.”
