South Australia’s largest independent retailer, SipnSave has appointed its first female Board member.

Bodelle Francis is the first ever female to join the Board in its history and hopes to add a new perspective to the group.

Ms. Francis comes from the Francis Group of Hotels as General Manager, which runs five hospitality based venues, including three SipnSave drive thrus. She is also the Deputy Vice Chairman of the South Australian Jockey Club Board and the youngest, having joined at the age of 27.

Ms. Hurley said commenting on her appointment: “I’ve always worked in what have been considered traditionally ‘blokey industries’. Boards require diversity and I find I bring another perspective to discussions, which can result in new and fresh outcomes.”
