NSW liquor and gaming signage transition period ending

From Friday, 23 July, all venues must display their new liquor and gaming signs and remove the old ones. Initially released in January 2021, licensees can now download and print approved signage professionally or use an office colour printer.

The liquor and gaming signage changes have been made to increase flexibility, reduce costs and wait times, and minimise harm. For more information, including print specifications and to download signage, visit the Liquor and Gaming NSW website.

NSW reminds licensees of the importance of COVID Safe Check-in

With Victoria in its fourth lockdown, it is timely to remind licensees that New South Wales public health orders require mandate that an electronic record of all staff, patrons and contractors is kept for every time they visit your premises.

Using the NSW Government’s COVID Safe Check-in QR code system makes it easier for NSW Health contact tracers to reach people as quickly as possible if there is a positive COVID-19 case detected. It also means you do not need to store the data.
