Rekorderlig Cider has released a new range of premium cider, which moves the brand not only into the higher ABV category, but also into the growing 10-pack can market.

The new can range, called Festival, features an Äpple and a Pear variant, both 6.5% in ABV. The ABV is reminiscent of the level of alcohol European ciders were traditionally made with, while “Festival” is inspired by the brand’s Swedish heritage – a culture renowned for celebrating together with family and friends.

Rekorderlig’s Marketing Manager in Australia, Nikki Langford said of the launch: “We’re really excited to launch Rekorderlig Festival 6.5% Cider to continue to drive both innovation and quality in the cider category.

“The 10 pack can format with a higher ABV offers greater consumer choice with an easy carry and dispense fridge pack. They will also provide genuine quality for existing cider fans, as well as help recruit new male and female consumers with a thirst for premium products.”

Festival Äpple is a sweet and refreshing apple cider, but with a crisp, dry finish created by the higher ABV, while Pear combines the delicate taste of ripe, juicy pears with a cool crisp finish. The Äpple variant is available now, however Pear will be released later in May.
