Would you like to learn more about NSW wines and how wine show judging works? The 2020 Wine Awards is holding it’s first-ever trade masterclass, following a successful trial run last year.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, October 1, between 4 – 6pm at ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour.

The masterclass will give attendees an exclusive opportunity to discuss the judging process with some of the state’s best wine judges and discover which wines caught their attention this year.

NSW Wine Awards

The 2020 NSW Wine Awards are now in full swing, with judging starting on Tuesday, September 29.

The NSW Governor’s Trophy for Best in Show at the 2019 ICC Sydney NSW Wine Awards was won by Mount Pleasant Wines 2018 Mountain D Shiraz (Hunter Valley).

Chair of Judges Dave Brookes said: “NSW enviable purple-patch of great vintages and world class winemaking offers wine drinkers outstanding wines that span the spectrum from precise focused sparkling wines through to cellar-worthy shiraz and all bases in between. Many other Australian wine states should rightly be envious of NSW diversity and quality.”

Due to social distancing regulations there are only 42 seats available at the event and there is an attendance fee of $10.
