Just in time for summer and the festive season, Crafters Union Wines is releasing a limited-edition Sauvignon-Blanc bottle and can label designed by Ginger & Smart.

Rolling out in BWS stores from late October, the bespoke bottles will feature Ginger & Smart’s ‘Future Nature’ label, which was voted most popular by Australian consumers in a competition earlier this year.

Future Nature is a celebration of both brands shared philosophy of contemporary elegance. The design is an amplified floral abstract inspired by the beauty of New Zealand’s iconic Marlborough region and the crisp shapes are a play on the delicious flavours of passionfruit and gooseberry.

The design also borrows cues from Ginger & Smart’s AW19 collection, Chroma.

Marketing Manager for Crafters Union Samantha Benney said: “We’re delighted to work with Ginger & Smart on this collaboration. As one of the most established fashion labels in Australia, they continue to lead with unique and captivating designs, making them the perfect strategic partner for Crafters Union.”

The co-founders of Ginger & Smart – Alexandra and Genevieve Smart – added: “We are excited to be collaborating with Crafters Union – a brand that shares our approach towards innovation and creativity with stand-out packaging.

“The worlds of wine and fashion design have a lot in common. Whether it’s a beautiful dress or a bottle of premium wine, both have the unique ability to tell a story through texture, colour, structure and complexity. For this collaboration, we have drawn inspiration from the elegance and intensity of Crafters Union Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the Marlborough wine region.”

The limited-edition Crafters Union x Ginger & Smart Sauvignon Blanc is also available as a gift with purchase for a limited time only – consumers who purchase two bottles for $30 will receive a free limited-edition Crafters Union x Ginger & Smart scarf valued at $129.
