A new cider is set to hit the Australian market via a crowdfunding campaign hosted by McLaren Vale winery Skin Deep Wines.

The man behind this latest release and Skin Deep Wines is Adam Hooper. While primarily known for the Love Lost range of wines, Adam has now transferred his winemaking talents over to cider production.

His newest creation, Afrodizzik is a premium apple cider, made from apple juice and free from any artificial sweeteners, colours or flavouring. It has a refreshing, fruity taste with balanced sweetness and a fine bead of effervescence.

The new cider is however, is not yet available on shelves, currently awaiting funding to launch the product.

In order to launch Afrodizzik, Skin Deep Wines needs to raise $25,000. The team has already raised a total $20,000 in addition, however a total $45,000 is needed to launch the first batch of 1,500 cases.

To raise the money, the team at Skin Deep Wines is currently hosting a crowdfunding campaign on IndiGoGo.com. The team is offering up pre-orders of the first batch of Afrodizzik to purchase, with a case of 24 x 330ml bottles retailing for $80 or two cases for $150. Customers can also purchase Love Lost wines, t-shirts and stickers, with all funds going towards the launch.
