Lord Nelson Brewery Celebrates 175 Years with New Dead Ahead Ale

Lord Nelson is celebrating two milestones by releasing a cracking ale.

In 2016 the microbrewery at the Lord Nelson turns 30 years old, the same year the heritage pub turns 175. As part of the rich fabric of Australia’s history, the Lord Nelson is Sydney’s oldest continually licensed hotel and the country’s oldest pub brewery.

To celebrate these milestones, Lord Nelson have released a specialty brew, “Dead Ahead”, as a nod to their past and a glimpse into their future. Dead Ahead is a Golden British ale, refined in palate, with subtle aromatics, a balanced hop bitterness and supremely sessionable at 5.2% abv and 30 IBU, it is an eminently ‘Lord’ styled ale.

Dead Ahead will be available throughout 2016 in 330ml bottles and keg and can be enjoyed in weather both inclement and sunny.
