Our view: The 2015 Shiraz is as fresh as it gets and minimally handled. Wild ferment, no oak and no sulphur dioxide. The fruits are forward and a powerful tannin backbone lends to a full-flavoured mouthfeel and lengthy finish. Only harvested in mid to late march, this wine is young and will benefit from ageing.

The 2014 Viogner is challenging but delivers. Like the shiraz, this wine has been minimally handled, and just a year older. The colour is hazy (bottled unfined and unfiltered) with aromas of apricot and sweet oranges. On the palate the fruit sweetness is balanced with the natural acidity – this is not a wine for your entry level wine lover, but perfect for the explorer and viognier enthusiast.
