Inspired by James Squire himself, who braved the harsh and treacherous English winters of the 1700s, James Squire brings a new winter seasonal to Australian drinkers with the release of the Darkside Jaffa Porter.

Fruity and sweet with a medium body, this porter leaves a velvety dark chocolate flavour on the palate and bursts with rich citrus aroma and hints of sweet orange.

“The sweet hint of orange in the Jaffa Porter comes from the addition of orange zest after fermentation. The hops we used definitely give some citrus character to the brew but not at a level you would say tasted or smelled like oranges. We added 5kg of orange zest to the 50hl brew to bring that taste to life and are really proud of this great winter beauty,” said Allan Tilden, James Squire Brewer.

The Darkside Jaffa Porter sits at 6% ABV and is available from James Squire Brewhouses for a limited time.
