Australian Cocktail Month
On Tuesday night Australian Cocktail Month launched at the beautiful Hickson House Distillery in The Rocks, Sydney. Over 120 guests joined Australian Cocktail Month founder Penny Sippe to celebrate and enjoyed delicious cocktails to toast the 2022 event designed to celebrate and support Australian bars and bartenders.
Ms Sippe said, “Our Australian bartenders and bars are some of the best in the world and can’t wait to warmly welcome you in May.”
Hickson House Distilling Co have crafted three exclusive cocktails for the month of May: Tea Blossom, Grog On and the non-alc Patio Cooler.
In its second year, Australian Cocktail Month has grown considerably and is rolling out in twelve markets around Australia including Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Geelong, Gold Coast, Hobart, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney and Wollongong with 145 bars joining the celebrations.
Ms Sippe has forged partnerships with s leading local and international alcohol brands to champion the country’s bar industry.
“I am so excited for another year of Australian Cocktail Month. Year two and we have more cities and double the bars involved. Encouraging consumers to head out and explore the bars that make our cities so vibrant whilst enjoying amazing cocktails created by some of the country’s best bartenders is our goal,” said Ms Sippe.
A $20 ticket gives patrons access to $14 cocktails (including non-alc) created exclusively for the month where consumers can escape the day to day and enjoy delicious cocktails.
