To celebrate its 200th birthday, Laphroaig distillery has launched a global campaign entitled “200 Opinions Wanted”, offering consumers a chance to win a trip to its birthplace, Islay, if they offer their opinion of the Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

200 years after launching its Single Malt Scotch Whisky in 1815, Laphroaig’s Single Malt Scotch Whisky garners divided opinions due to its smoky, unique taste.

By offering their opinion, good or bad, entrants will be entered to win a trip to Islay, as a guest of distillery Manager John Campbell, to discover the true home and heritage of the No.1 selling Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky globally.

Two hundred of the most unique opinions will be displayed on the distillery’s walls, with the ten best winning a place on the trip to Islay, on which guests will attend “Laphroaig Live” – a global whisky event held at the Laphroaig Distillery.

All entrants from 20 April – 1 August 2015 will go in the running to win.
