De Bortoli releases fashionable category disruptor

De Bortoli Wines has created a limited release Botrytis Semillon wine designed to catch the eye and tastebuds of trend setters.

The bottles feature images by the late Australian designer Florence Broadhurst.

Broadhurst, who grew up in outback Queensland, began creating luxury hand-printed wallpaper designs at the age of 60 that are still revered around the world.

One of Florence’s grandest and most iconic designs is her ‘Japanese Floral’ stylised lotus, recognisable by its dramatic scale and unique style. Featuring two different versions of this design, this limited edition De Bortoli Botrytis Semillon reflects Broadhurst’s whirlwind of creativity.

While featuring the same varietal as the world-famous Noble One Botrytis Semillon, this limited release is a lighter, more sessionable style evoking a striking balance of fresh citrus characters and refreshing acidity, so it can be enjoyed at any occasion.

In addition to the two limited edition label designs, De Bortoli Wines has released 100 bottles of a Signature Release design worldwide for consumers to hunt and collect all three.

More details will be released on this mystery label in the coming weeks.

The limited release De Bortoli Botrytis Semillon is RRP $20 and available at leading liquor outlets across Australia.
