Dan Murphy’s is now retailing North America’s best selling whisky brand in Australia.

Crown Royal Maple Flavoured Whisky, distributed by Diageo Australia, is now retailing exclusively in Dan Murphy’s.

The range currently being retailed includes the original Crown Royal Maple Finished Canadian Whisky, as well as the De Luxe, Black, Reserve and XR.

Latest to join the range is the Crown Royal Whisky premix offering, which sees two new products mix the Maple Flavoured Whisky with Cola and with dry ginger ale – Crown Royal Whisky and dry.

Dan Murphy’s Head of Merchandise, Michael Jackson said of the new product: “We are always looking to add to our extensive range of over 350 whiskies from around the world and Canadian Crown Royal is one we have had in our sights for a couple of years.”

Crown Royal was created in 1939 to honour the royal grand tour of Canada by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.

Crown Royal Maple Flavoured Whisky is renowned for its sweet maple syrup, vanilla and oak notes. Notes of maple syrup follow from the fore of the nose through to the palate, ending in a long, warming finish.

Dan Murphy’s stores nationwide will be holding exclusive tastings for customers over the coming weeks to support the launch.
